Whether it’s your first time shopping our Anniversary Sale or you just need a refresher, here’s what to know before you go: 

  

Anniversary Sale Guidelines

  • 25% off everything in-store — no stacking with other discounts including but not limited to: ASTRO, clearance, senior, and military discounts
  • Coupons (including manufacturer/vendor coupons) are not accepted during the sale
  • Clearance and sale items are 25% off original retail price
  • ASTRO punches will still be added to your account
  • ASTRO free bags cannot be redeemed during the sale but will remain on your account until redeemed
  • Online ordering is disabled for the duration of the sale 
  • Redmond Specific: 25% off only applies to retail items and does not apply to services offered

Rain Check Policy

If a product is out of stock or you'd like to buy more than what's currently available:  

  • Rain checks can only be purchased with an up-to-date customer account (make sure we are able to call you at the phone number on file)
  • Rain checks can be placed on products that we normally carry in stock
  • Ask for a rain check at the register and purchase the item(s) in advance, but please note:
    • Wet food: You must purchase by the case (depends on brand and size - please ask an associate for details)
    • Broth: Must purchase by the case (depends on brand and size - please ask an associate for details)  
    • Gently cooked single meals: Must purchase by the case (depends on brand and size - please ask an associate for details)
    • Case quantities on other products we carry may apply 
  • You’ll receive a phone call when your items are ready for pickup
  • Pickup deadline: within 2 weeks of the call that your rain check is ready for pickup
    • Items not picked up in time will be refunded and returned to the floor for purchase
  • Receipt is required to claim or return rain check items

Note 1: Redmond may offer limited rain checks on all products due to space constraints. Please call ahead with questions. 

Note 2: Monroe and Redmond are unble to rain check frozen/raw products due to limited space so please plan accordingly. Ask associate for details.

Note 3: If your rain check is not received from our distribution partners in a timely manner (either out of stock, etc.) your rain check will be refunded to you with notice. Please ask a manager for details.

In-Store Etiquette

  • Bring your friends, family — and your pets!
  • Please keep your children supervised and with you at all times 
  • All pets must be leashed or in carriers (please refrain from using flexi leashes) 
  • For safety, please leave reactive or aggressive pets at home
  • During sale events, our team may have limited time and may not be able to offer the same level of in-depth nutritional consultations as we do on regular days. We appreciate your understanding!

Anniversary Sale FAQ

Can I use product-attached coupons or vendor booth coupons?
No. Hold on to them for a future visit — they’ll be valid after the sale. 

What if the item I want is out of stock?
If you have an account with us, request a rain check at checkout! You’ll be called when it’s ready and will have 2 weeks to pick it up. (Make sure your phone number on file is up-to-date!)

Can everything be rain checked?
Not all brands qualify. Monroe and Redmond are not able to rain check frozen/raw products due to limited freezer space. Check with staff in advance to confirm if your brand can be rain checked. 

Do I still get my senior or military discount?
No. Only the 25% storewide discount applies during the sale. 

Can I shop the sale if I’m out of town?
Only in-store purchases on August 2–3 qualify. No pre-orders, holds, or post-sale pricing. 

Can someone shop on my behalf?
Yes! Make sure they: 

  • Use your phone number at checkout
  • Save the physical receipt in case of rain checks (which is required for pickup)

Can I get help choosing a new food for my pet?
We’ll do our best, but detailed consultations are limited on busy sale days. For a full consult, stop in before or after the sale weekend. 

Can I bring my dog or cat?
Yes! Dogs must be leashed. Cats should be in a carrier or on a secure leash. 

Can I rain check 1 or more [raw food] bulk box(es)?
Depends. If you are shopping in Monroe or Redmond you are not able to rain check any raw or frozen products due to limited freezer space. If you are shopping in Everett, you are able to place rain checks on raw and frozen products.
