Sam's Cats and Dogs, Naturally started in August 2005 in sleepy downtown Monroe. After moving twice to our current location in 2012 we stayed put until 2016 when we added our Everett store. At the end of 2020 we added our Redmond location and in 2024 we moved our Everett location into our superstore spot on Everett Mall Way.

In those 21 years we have been committed to not only providing the best foods available for your pets, but also providing them at a price that reflects a value for our customers. Our passion has always revolved around serving our customer's needs: stocking hard to find items, one of the industries strongest guarantees, having a large selection of options, and most importantly not judging the people that come in our stores looking for help.

If we don't stock the things you are shopping for, but we can order them in for you we will. If you need us to stock something for you that you buy regularly (4+ times a year), we will set up a small shelf space with your name on it. If you need someone to see you as a human being and treat you with kindness, we will do that also.

In a world that has myriad choices and price points we remain steadfast in our desire to bring you truly the best products, at the best prices, with the best service. We aren't perfect, but we are working towards that every day.

Favorite Memory at Sam’s: My favorite memory at Sam’s is during Samta Photos in 2024 I brought in one of my plants to pose for a photo with Samta (since I didn’t have any current pets) and Sam thought I was crazy.
Favorite Brand Sam’s Carries: Favorite Breed of Animal: African Pygmy Hedgehog
Favorite thing to do with your pets: I don’t currency have any, but I enjoyed snuggling on the couch while watching TV
Favorite thing to do in your spare time: I enjoy doing yoga, pilates, reading books (cozy mysteries, psychological thrillers and splatterpunk)

Favorite Memory at Sam’s: Sam and my 1st dog Yoda running around the Main st and Lewis St stores, chasing each other and both of them yelling at the other with big stupid grins on their faces.
Favorite Brand Sam’s Carries: SleepyPod because I know my pets are as safe as possible in the car.
Favorite Breed of Animal: Any dog! I have a particular soft spot for blocky headed dogs though.
Favorite thing to do with your pets: I'm really enjoying classes with my dogs at Kokoro!
Favorite thing to do in your spare time: Spare time?! HA! I enjoy traveling, sewing, baking, and coloring when I can find spare time.

This is by far my favorite pet store by a long shot. Everybody here is super friendly and nice. They also have a fenced yard that you can take your dog out to, which is pretty unique I feel. What sets this place apart for me specifically, is Garrett. He cares about animals so much, that I'd honestly trust his opinion/recommendation over 50% of the vets I've talked to.

Great assortment of pet supplies, all good quality. I went in originally to ask about the right dog food for my extra large puppy, and they helped us find the right one, not just random ones by title or what was in stock. The correct chemical percentages. I go to this store andthe one in Everett, depending on where I need to be. They gave us our money back when the dog wouldn't eat the first 2 if we returned what we didn't use.

I have been a customer of Sam’s since his first store opened on Main Street, I think it was over 20 years ago now. I had a recent interaction with Jesse that really just made me so grateful for all of these years of this wonderful local pet supply store. Jesse has been with Sam, since he opened.
